2012 Fermi Symposium Proceedings Instructions for Contributors
To All Symposium Speakers and Presenters:
Thank you for participating in the 4th Fermi Symposium! We are now ready to accept your contribution to the proceedings. The proceedings will be published electronically, through the SLAC eConf system under conference number C121028. An archive of all contributions will be also available for easy download.
Please follow the instructions below for using the arXiv repository to upload your contribution. The proceedings will not be refereed, and all authors are encouraged to write a concise 6 pages or less.
Important: The deadline for submitting manuscripts has been extended to 8 March 2013.

Preparing and Submitting Proceedings Manuscripts
1. Download the Proceedings template
LaTeX Template
Download the LaTex template and PDF instructions using the links below.
Microsoft Word Template
If you prefer to use Microsoft Word instead of LaTeX, download the MS Word template and PDF instructions using the links below.
2. Modify the template with your manuscript
Important: Please do not modify header and footer information. Proceedings will be published electronically and are encouraged to be a concise 6 pages or less.
3. Submit your manuscript to arXiv
When submitting your manuscript to arXiv, be sure to do the following:
- Choose the category: astro-ph.HE (Astrophysics section, High Energy Astrophysical Phenomena).
- Upload your LaTeX manuscript file, all graphics or figures files and the slac_two.rtx class style definition file to the arXiv server.
- Insert the words 2012 Fermi Symposium proceedings - eConf C121028 in the Comments field.
Note 1: arXiv requires the slac_two.rtx file in order to compile your manuscript. (The file is included in the LaTeX template zip file you downloaded.)
Note 2: Papers authored with MS Word must be converted to PDF files for submission to the ePrint arXiv server. The "Proceedings Contributors Guide PDF contains instructions for converting Word files to PDF.

4. Notify the Editors of your arXiv submission
Click the link below, fill in and submit the web form to notify the proceedings editors that your paper has been accepted by arXiv.
